Qualifications

About the role

This is an Investment Compliance Intern position supporting investment compliance oversight and management activities within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with investment compliance supervision and management work
• Monitor various investment activities to ensure compliance with company internal policies and external regulatory requirements
• Conduct regular investment compliance monitoring, promptly identify, alert and report potential compliance risks
• Participate in legal document review for investment projects and assist in identifying core risk points such as investment scope restrictions, LP rights protection, key person clauses, and exit mechanisms
• Assist with organization and filing of relevant documents
• Support cross-departmental collaboration and inquiries, including report completion, data organization, data verification, material compilation and information validation
• Assist with other tasks assigned by leadership

About you

• Full-time undergraduate degree or above (Hong Kong part-time master's students also acceptable); current student or recent graduate with legal permission to intern in Hong Kong
• Background in finance, insurance, risk management, economics, law or related disciplines preferred
• Holders of relevant finance/law professional qualifications or those who have passed relevant exams preferred
• Strong risk compliance awareness, rigorous logical thinking and high data sensitivity
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Able to intern at least 4 days per week
