Job summary

The ideal candidate is studying actuarial science, finance, mathematics or statistics, with strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with R or Python.

Qualifications

• Pursuing studies in actuarial science, finance, mathematics, statistics or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Proficient in MS Office; programming knowledge (R or Python) is a plus.
• Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English.

This person will be part of the Prudential General Insurance Actuarial Service team, providing actuarial support to product pricing and regular actuarial reporting.

Job Descriptions

• Assist the team in General Insurance product development initiatives and product pricing.
• Evaluate the performance of existing products and comparing them with actual operational experience.
• Assist the team in performing data analysis and generating regular reports.
• Assist in ad-hoc task and project including experience studies, market research, etc.

Job Requirements

• Study in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Office. Knowledge of programming language, e.g. R or Python will be a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willing to learn and attentive to details of general insurance products
• Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
