Job summary

Prudential Services Asia in Hong Kong is offering an actuarial internship within the General Insurance Actuarial Service team. You'll assist in product development initiatives and pricing, support regular actuarial reporting, and work with data to derive insights.

The role requires studying Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics, proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with R or Python is a plus. Strong analytical skills and bilingual Chinese and English are essential.

Qualifications

Study in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent.
Proficient in MS Office.
Knowledge of programming language, e.g. R or Python will be a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Willing to learn and attentive to details of general insurance products
Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

Assist the team in General Insurance product development initiatives and product pricing.
Evaluate the performance of existing products and comparing them with actual operational experience.
Assist the team in performing data analysis and generating regular reports.
Assist in ad-hoc task and project including experience studies, market research, etc.
