Responsibilities
- Assist design leader to translate design concept into reality
- Prepare and coordinate the development and preparation of preliminary design concepts
- Coordinate the development of technical/design solutions
- Select and research project design materials, furnishings, and accessories
- Coordinate and prepare design documents, sketches, plans, details and schedules under the direction of design leader
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture or equivalent education or experience
- 5 to 8 years of design experience required
- Good knowledge of hospitality design is a bonus
- Demonstrable skills in creative design solutions including design/selection of FF&E
- LEED accreditation an advantage
- Ability to communicate effectively in presentations and in writing
- Fluent in both written and spoken English; Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a plus
- Proficiency in Photoshop and/or Affinity required
- Proficiency in Revit and other 3D modeling software such as Sketch-Up and Enscape required
