Job summary

Gensler is seeking an Intern to collaborate with project teams across stages, developing 3D models and design schemes. The role includes interior design assignments, client collaboration, and coordinating FF&E, color, and materials for presentation and space planning.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor or Master in interior design or related field, strong design concepts, and fluency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

Bachelor or master's in interior design, Architecture, Environmental Art Design or related major.
Strong planning abilities, including development of design concepts, knowledge of furniture and finishes, planning codes, etc.
Self-starters with good verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other 3D computer design programs.
Preferred a Revit user.
Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Can commit to 3–4 days of full-time internship; preference for 3 months or longer.
Submit a current portfolio and/or work samples in PDF format.

Responsibilities

Perform interior design assignments using professional concepts and procedures.
Work with client and provide solutions to design problems; generate design plans and projects.
Participate in selection of FF&E, color, and materials for projects and space planning concepts.
