Job summary

One Arrow Consulting Group is seeking data professionals in Hong Kong to drive insights across the insurance value chain. The role covers Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Data Governance at junior to senior levels, partnering with internal teams and external partners as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a Statistics/CS/Data Science background, strong BI skills (Power BI, Excel) and solid SQL/database knowledge, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Statistics, Quantitative Analysis, Computer Science, Data Science or related disciplines.
• Experience in Data Science / Machine Learning / Data Analytics / Data Engineering / Data Governance roles.
• Proven track record in using data to measure performance, build tools and make decisions.
• Excellent in using Power BI; Knowledgeable in other BI tools, e.g. Google Analytics; Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong in database concepts and SQL query and optimization.
• Understanding of the insurance value chain.
• Experience leading analytics projects; project management experience is a plus.

Multinational to medium-size insurance companies are looking for Data Analytics / Data Science / Data Engineering / Data Architect / Data Governance at various levels for the business growth. (Junior to Senior Level)

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Statistics, Quantitative Analysis, Computer Science, Data Science or related disciplines
• experience working in Data Science / Machine Learning / Data Analytics / Data Engineering / Data Governance roles
• Proven track record in using data to measure performance, build tools and make decisions
• Excellent in using Power BI; Knowledgeable in other BI tools, e.g. Google Analytics; Advanced Excel skills
• Strong in database concepts and competence in SQL query and optimization
• Understanding of the insurance value chain.
• Experience in leading business insights and analytics projects via internal resources, and/ or external research partners / vendors is a plus. Project management experience is preferred
• Ability to resolve ambiguity and manage conflicting needs from stakeholders while working within the constraints of a complex technical and operational environment
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking with strong analytical and implementation skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure, and can handle multiple and ad-hoc tasks with a can-do attitude as an individual or a team player
• Result-oriented and self-motivated; Intellectual curiosity and proactive, ability to learn fast
