Job summary

Singapore International seeks a committed Computer Science and ICT Teacher to join from August 2027 for the 2027–2028 school year. The role requires 3–5 years of experience with IBDP CS and Cambridge IGCSE CS; IGCSE ICT is preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate will design engaging lessons, deliver lab-based practicals, assess progress, and contribute to school-wide initiatives within a multicultural setting.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with substantial Computer Science content.
• HK-recognised teaching certification in Computer Science or ICT.
• 3–5 years of secondary/ high school teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of IGCSE and IBDP curricula, with modern instructional practices.
• Solid programming skills in Python or similar, with classroom integration.
• Strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement CS/ICT curricula across grade levels.
• Create engaging, lab-based lesson plans with real-world applications.
• Assess student progress with formative and summative methods.
• Provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate to integrate cross-disciplinary topics.
• Oversee weekly after-school co-curricular activities for competitions.
• Stay updated on CS/ICT developments and incorporate them.
• Participate in school events, conferences, and PD opportunities.
