Job summary

Accenture PLC in Hong Kong seeks a candidate with strong Corporate Actions experience to support clients in Market Leading Support, Technology and Client Service in Corporate Action & Income aligned Investment Management, transforming and enhancing asset servicing and post-trade operations.

The role focuses on processing mandatory and voluntary events, reconciling actions, and ensuring timely payments while collaborating with front and middle office and other teams to maintain control and risk

Qualifications

• Mandatory experience in Corporate Actions within investment banking, securities servicing or capital markets operations.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Corporate Actions lifecycle and ISO SWIFT messaging types for CA.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience in business analysis, transformation, change or technology implementation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Action events across key dates.
• Reconcile CA events and pay to clients on time.
• Monitor and resolve breaks/fails queues daily.
• Liaise with front office, middle office, oversight, trade support groups, agents / counterparties.
• Participate in UAT, update procedures, and support audit requirements.

We are looking for a candidate with strong Corporate Actions experience to support clients in Market Leading Support, Technology and Client Service in Corporate Action & Income aligned Investment Management, transforming and enhancing their asset servicing and post-trade operations.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be part of the team in a challenging environment to help the firm managing the corporate action events accurately and deliver low Assets at risk numbers which is crucial to the firm's risk & control as well as future transformation work.

Key elements of the role are:

• Process the Mandatory Corporate Action / Voluntary Corporate Action events effectively across key dates
• Reconcile the CA events & pay to client on time
• Monitor, Investigate and take action to resolve breaks/fails queue on a daily basis
• Be the Subject matter expert of process
• Manage the High demanding prime brokerage clients requirements
• Liaise with front office, middle office, oversight, trade support groups, agents / counterparties
• Monitor to make sure all the system exception queues are cleared on a daily basis
• Perform any other ad-hoc business requirement eg; Update/ review of Procedure documents, participating in UAT, supporting in Audit requirements etc..
• Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Mandatory experience in Corporate Actions within investment banking, securities servicing or capital markets operations, covering Mandatory and/or Voluntary events.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end Corporate Actions lifecycle and all Corporate action types and ISO swift messaging types for CA.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, with good time management, Prioritizing tasks and able to meet deadlines
• Keen analytical skills and the ability to develop effective solutions
• Be a team player with a high level of commitment and enthusiasm
