Job summary

Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong seeks an experienced Income Auditor to join our finance team. You will ensure revenues are recorded accurately and reports prepared daily to support profitability.

Responsibilities include reconciliation of revenues, adherence to policies, and collaboration with management on special projects. Strong English and Chinese communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ work experience in income audit or similar roles in hotel industry.
  • A higher diploma in accounting, finance or related discipline.
  • Solid work experience in IHG Hotels is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills both internally and externally.
  • Familiar with Sun Ledger and Oracle Opera PMS is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

Responsibilities

  • Record all hotel revenues accurately and report discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare daily revenue reports and reconcile revenues with cash and AR movements.
  • Ensure revenue recording and reporting adheres to Finance Policy.
  • Review rebates and miscellaneous charges with supporting documentation.
  • Lead or complete special projects as directed by management.

comfortable with balancing the books when it comes to managing the needs of owners, auditors and regulatory agencies while also monitoring and improving hotel profitability, providing full support to Operation Manager.

A little taste of your day-to-day
Every Day Is Different, But You’ll Mostly Be
  • Responsible for ensuring all revenues generated in the hotel are recorded accurately and discrepancies reported on a timely basis and the daily revenue report and reconciles all revenues against cash banked and accounts receivable movements for each day.
  • Ensuring all revenues are recorded and reported on a daily basis and all control procedures are in place relating to the income process.
  • Checking all Daily Food & Beverage Revenue and front office revenue. All revenue must be in accordance with Finance Policy.
  • Reviewing all rebates and miscellaneous charges are supported by documentation detailing the charges. All rebate credits must be in accordance with Finance Policy.
  • Performing various special projects as requested and assigned by management.
What We Need From You
  • A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in income audit or similar roles in hotel industry.
  • A higher diploma in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
  • Solid work experience in IHG Hotels is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills both internally and externally.
  • Familiarized with Sun Ledger, Oracle Opera PMS is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), speaking and writing.
