AIA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking an actuarial professional to produce valuation and analysis for financial reporting under EV Reporting. The role supports the development of financial KPIs, business planning and forecasting to assist financial management.

Qualifications

• University/college degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics and Statistics or related subject.
• Fresh graduates will also be considered.
• Good progress in Actuarial professional examination.
• Sound analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to deal with and handle multiple priorities.
• Experience and knowledge in insurance product and actuarial reporting work.
• Proficiency in actuarial software, e.g. Prophet is an advantage.
• License may be required for regulated activities.

Responsibilities

• Actuarial Valuation: EV and VONB financial reporting for EV/VONB metrics and related KPIs.
• Financial Projection: Assist annual budget and regular forecasts of financial KPIs.
• Process & Controls: Maintain audit trails for valuations with data, models and assumptions.
• Process Enhancement: Help improve reporting processes, systems, tools and controls.
• Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc analyses requested by management.
