Job Responsibilities:
Design and facilitate engaging, interactive lessons that guide students through key concepts and themes across the IB, A-Level, and IGCSE Geography curricula.
Assist in creating proprietary teaching resources and course materials exclusively for use within the Academy.
Analyse past exam trends to identify recurring question patterns and potential pitfalls, helping students steer clear of common errors that limit top grades.
Provide consistent, clear, and constructive feedback to both students and parents on academic performance and progress.
Deliver instruction in IBDP Geography, ensuring alignment with syllabus requirements and assessment objectives.
Develop individualised lesson plans and progress reports that address each student's unique learning needs and goals.
Keep parents regularly informed about their child's learning journey, achievements, and areas for improvement.
Key Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
A Bachelor's degree or higher in a Geography-related discipline (e.g., Human Geography, Physical Geography, Environmental Science, or similar).
Proven teaching experience in IB, GCSE, or A-Level Geography, with strong familiarity with the IB Geography syllabus.
A genuine enthusiasm for teaching, combined with patience, creativity, and a student-centred approach.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable and effective working in an international, multicultural setting.
