Micro Connect (H.K.) Investments Limited is seeking a motivated HR AI Agent Intern to join our HR team in Hong Kong. You will build and ship HR AI agents that automate high‑volume workflows and prototype internal copilots.

You will work with stakeholders across teams to drive adoption through AI design, LLM-powered workflows, and data-driven insights, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and adding real value to our HR agent portfolio.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and innovative HR AI Agent Intern to join our dynamic HR team in Hong Kong. You will build and ship HR AI agents that automate high-volume HR workflows, prototype internal 'HR copilots,' and work closely with stakeholders across different teams to drive adoption through creative agent design, LLM-powered workflows, and data-driven insights. This internship offers hands‑on experience in a fast-paced environment where your ideas and efforts will be appreciated, and where you will be expected to add real value to our HR AI agent/skill portfolio.

Key responsibilities

Assess current HR workflows end-to‑end, identify the highest‑leverage opportunities to apply AI or automation, and design, develop, and deploy HR AI agents from scratch that integrate with existing HR systems and data

Create reusable agent skills, select and orchestrate the optimal LLMs and frameworks, and continuously test and iterate on agent performance

Enable the HR team to adopt agents in their daily work through training, documentation, and hands‑on support, and feed user feedback back into agent improvements

Track agent usage, performance, and failure cases; optimize prompts, workflows, and model selection; and ensure data privacy, security, and compliance standards are met

Partner with the HR team on ad hoc and strategic initiatives, lending AI expertise wherever it can accelerate outcomes

About you

Undergraduate or pursuing master's degree, preferably in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, HR Tech, Business Analytics, or a related field

Prior hands‑on experience building HR AI Agents is strongly preferred, e.g., HR chatbots, HR copilots, workflow agents, RAG-based HR assistants

Familiar with multiple Large Language Models (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, etc.) and agent frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, etc.)

Detail‑oriented and organized, with strong problem‑solving skills and a builder mindset, and fast adaptability

Strong command of written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese; fluency in Cantonese is an advantage

Available to work onsite 3+ days per week, with a preferred commitment of more than three months
