Job summary

Shangri-La Group in Hong Kong is seeking a Security Officer to oversee access control, patrols and emergency response to ensure a safe environment aligned with Shangri-La’s service standards. You will help protect guests, staff, and assets while maintaining a calm, professional presence.

Requirements include a minimum of 1 year in the hotel industry, fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, the ability to work independently, and holding a Hong Kong Security Personnel Permit.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the hotel industry.
• Good command of spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Able to work independently.
• Possession of Hong Kong Security Personnel Permit.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for access control and patrols.
• Response to emergency events according to standard safety procedures.
• Maintain hotel security and protect safety and assets of all hotel guests, visitors and employees.
