Job summary

J.P. Morgan Asset Management seeks a Vice President in the Hong Kong Institutional Business to uncover sales opportunities and build client relationships independently.

You will engage major institutional investors with confidentiality, diligence and self-motivation, prioritizing tasks while adhering to established procedures. You will coordinate with internal departments, deliver investment advice, and drive the sales process to optimize product and service delivery for strategic relationships

Qualifications

• University Degree with at least 7 years of sales experience in the finance industry.
• Self-starter who is adaptive, fast-learning, responsive, reliable, extremely well-organized, detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
• Exceptional communication, presentation and networking skills.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets and investment products.
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (both spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities, work on sales pitches and proposals, drive sales process.
• Engage with client relationships, conduct performance reviews and meetings, provide investment advice on investment strategies, products and services.
• Coordinate projects and client activities with various internal departments.
• Work closely with investment teams, Product Development, Operations, Risk, Legal and other internal parties to optimize product and service delivery for overall relationship.
• Understand and analyze the industry development, and translate it into potential business opportunity.
• Research competitors' offerings and identify ways to improve the marketability and competitiveness of our products.
