Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is seeking a Headwaiter/Headwaitress to lead the Food & Beverage service team. Based in Hong Kong, you will supervise daily operations and ensure services meet the hotel’s set standards, reporting to the Restaurant Manager.

We require 4 years in Food & Beverage with hotel experience preferred; strong leadership and English/Cantonese skills are essential, Mandarin is an advantage. MS Office proficiency is expected, with MOstay and wellness benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent command of English and Cantonese; Mandarin an advantage.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with excellent communication.
• Computer literacy in MS Excel and Word; exposure to hotel service standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operation of the department to uphold service standards.
• Assist in training plans and conduct training sessions for staff.
• Maintain staff discipline and teamwork across the team.
• Inspect cleanliness of service equipment and sideboards.
• Prepare duty rosters for service staff.
