Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership Asia seeks a Head of Quality Management for a world-leading consumer electronics producer. You will lead QA/EMS programs, conduct audits, and drive corrective actions across a South China plant to ensure compliance with ISO9001/14001, RoHS/REACH and safety standards.

The role requires 12+ years in electronics manufacturing, with 6+ years in management, and strong leadership to mentor teams and collaborate cross-functionally with client representatives and auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least 12 years in electronics manufacturing, with 6+ years in a management role.
• Experience in finished consumer electronics goods is mandatory.
• Experience with large manufacturers is a plus.
• Solid understanding of QMS ISO9001/EMS ISO14001, RoHS & REACH, and safety standards (UL/CSA/MET/CCC/KTI).
• Ability to collaborate across departments, handle ambiguity, and tackle challenging assignments.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• High ownership, proactivity, and results orientation.
• Less experienced candidates may be considered as Senior Quality Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage an effective QA and environmental system with a team and conduct routine QMS and EMS audits for compliance and progress.
• Before mass production, test new items for quality and monitor field performance.
• Coordinate quick corrections or actions for improvement.
• Conduct routine manufacturing process audits to ensure methods meet customer, corporate, and product safety standards.
• Communicate with client representatives and auditors to ensure corrective actions and specs are met.

Our Client:
Due to continued expansion, the world-leading major producer in the consumer electronics industry of the world has an opening for Head of Quality Management they are specialists in the provision and development of consumer electronics products with production services. Recently they have been actively seeking a potential candidate for support monitoring quality and reliability testing for the company's goods and development processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage an effective and efficient QA and environmental system with the help of a team and conduct routine QMS and EMS audits to check for compliance and progress.
• Before going into mass production, test new items for quality, then keep an eye on how they perform in the field.
• Work together to organize quick corrections or actions for improvement.
• Conduct routine manufacturing process audits to make sure that the methods and quality of the production meet all customer, corporate, and Products Safety Listed standards.
• Communicate and work together with client representatives, regular FUS and Safety Marks Listed auditors, QMS and EMS auditors on the Factory QMS/EMS/Safety Audit, and make sure that corrective action is carried out and that agreed-upon specifications are met.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in a field such as quality engineering / manufacturing engineering / industrial engineering / electronics engineering, or another similar field.
• At least 12 years of experience working in the electronics manufacturing sector, with at least 6 of those years in a managing capacity.
• Experience in finished consumer electronics goods is a MUST!
• Working experience for large manufacturers is a plus.
• Having a thorough understanding of the QMS ISO9001/EMS ISO14001, International Environmental Acts: RoHS & REACH, and Product Safety Standards and Regulations: UL/CSA/MET/CCC/KTI, among other things.
• Capability to collaborate between departments, cope with ambiguity, and desire to take on challenging assignments.
• Strong leadership with good people management and development abilities.
• Strong ownership, proactive, self-motivated, responsive, and result-oriented.
• Less experienced candidates will be considered as Senior Quality Manager.
• Station in South China Manufacturing Plant.
