Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Hong Kong developer for an Associate Director, Land Acquisition. You will lead land acquisition strategies, oversee negotiations with landowners, and manage feasibility studies to drive property development projects in Hong Kong.

The role requires extensive experience in land deals, strong financial modelling and regulatory oversight, and the ability to steer cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Surveying, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in land acquisition or property development in Hong Kong, with 8-10 years in a senior role.
• MRICS, MHKIS (General Practice) and CFA are highly preferred.
• Proven track record leading high-value land acquisitions and complex development projects in Hong Kong.
• Strong expertise in financial modelling, DCF analysis, and risk assessment for large-scale developments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement land acquisition strategies for property development projects.
• Lead negotiations and secure agreements with landowners and stakeholders.
• Conduct feasibility studies and assess potential land opportunities.
• Oversee planning applications and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to align project goals.
• Monitor market trends and maintain a pipeline of acquisition opportunities.
• Manage budgets and timelines for acquisition and planning activities.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on progress.
