Job summary

KittySpout is seeking a Head of Product Development to build our product function from the ground up. You will own every new product end to end, from customer problem to mass production, coordinating industrial design, engineering, prototypes, patents, factories, cost and quality.

You will assemble and manage contract engineers and design studios, and establish factories in Shenzhen. You will lead a small, senior team and be based in Shenzhen, Dongguan or Hong Kong with weekly factory visits,

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years building physical products end to end.
• Led product teams including design, engineering and suppliers.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; strong communication with factories.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product development from concept to mass production.
• Build and lead a product team including designers, engineers and suppliers.
• Establish patents, IP protection, and vendor agreements.
• Manage cost, quality and timelines across factories in China.
