Role Overview
The Head of EAM Team serves as the core leader of the External Asset Manager (EAM) business line — overseeing team management and business development while personally driving client acquisition and channel conversion. The key mission of this role is to continuously expand AUM through the EAM platform's capability to onboard new channels and convert high-net-worth client leads, building long-term client relationships that contribute sustained growth.
Key Responsibilities
- EAM Team Management: Lead the team's formation, goal cascading, daily operations, and performance management; build a high-execution, high-conversion advisory team and ensure AUM and revenue targets are met
- Personal Client Ownership: As the team head, directly manage and nurture key client relationships, consistently generating personal AUM and revenue while setting a hands-on business benchmark for the team
- Channel Development & Conversion: Proactively identify and onboard new channel partners (including but not limited to private banks, family offices, independent wealth platforms, and professional firms); efficiently convert channel leads into deployed business and measurable AUM growth
- Lead Tracking & Client Engagement: Maintain acute sensitivity to client leads; establish a systematic lead-tracking and conversion mechanism ensuring every qualified lead is followed through to completion; build trust barriers through close, high-touch client service to enhance stickiness and repeat business
- Proactive Outreach & Resource Integration: Refuse to wait passively for resource allocation — actively uncover market opportunities and collaborate with product, compliance, and operations teams to ensure smooth processes with controlled compliance boundaries
- Team Capability Building: Regularly conduct business training and deal reviews to continuously elevate team members' client acquisition, needs diagnosis, and asset allocation solution design capabilities, forming a replicable business playbook
