Job summary

Highlight International Limited seeks a capable Graphic Designer to design concepts, layouts, and artworks. You will prepare banners, leaflets and perform image retouching, while coordinating event installations on-site with the team.

Responsibilities include following projects from design to completion, handling online inquiries, and collaborating with contractors. English and Chinese proficiency, and a Diploma in Arts/Graphic Design are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Arts/Graphic Design required.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in graphics design.
• Proficient in Chinese and English (written and spoken).
• Strong layout, presentation and interactive design sense.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Design and develop creative concepts, layouts and artworks.
• Prepare Banners, Leaflets, image retouch and other graphics designs.
• Responsible for graphics and photo editing and retouching.
• Event designsis a plus.
• Arrange to installation on site about event artworks, stage, exhibition, decoration & display.
• Following up from the design stage to project completion.
• Handle customer enquiries in various online communication.
• Work independently and equally as part of a team.
• Cooperate with external contractors as necessary.
• Ensuring effective and efficient coordination between team and client creative inputs.
• Cultivate new client relationships and deepen relationships with existing clients.
• Assist in other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Degree holder / Diploma holder in Arts / Graphic design.
• 1-2 years’ relevant experience.
• Good command in written and spoken Chinese and English.
• Proficient in design software / Image editing (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, In-Design and Photoshop).
• Proficient in using MS Office application, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Proficient in using Zoom meeting / Webinar would be bonus.
• Strong sense in layout, presentation and interactive design.
• Ability to be multi-task, oriented with strong attention to details and work under pressure. Able to meet tight deadlines and willing to work overtime.
• Know how to balance when to be quick to get results and when to be detailed.
• Adaptable and flexible to different creative and artistic styles.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a good team player.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Open to feedback.
• Immediate available is highly preferred.
