Job summary

Eclipse Trading, a leading proprietary derivatives firm, invites final-year students or recent graduates to join its 8-week training program in Hong Kong. You will work under a mentor to develop Python-based solutions used in live trading and market analysis.

The RAD Team collaborates with traders and quants to build trading software, empowering you to access live data and create automation logic within a production framework.

Qualifications

• Final year student or recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related disciplines with a strong emphasis on programming.
• Demonstrable development experience in Python, from academic projects, open source contributions or professional work.
• Passion for financial markets or working in a proprietary trading company (detailed knowledge not required).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
• Motivation to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve our shared Python development framework.
• Partner with traders, quants and other dev teams to deliver new trading software and improve systems.
• Drive projects from inception to design, implementation and delivery.
• Provide Tier 2 support as needed.
