Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area and teaching certification are required.
• Minimum 5 years of full-time teaching experience in the relevant grade/subject.
• Experience in an international school and with American education standards preferred.
• Experience designing units using backward design and collaborating with large teams.

Responsibilities

• Design coherent instruction aligned with curriculum outcomes and unit goals.
• Collaborate on learning targets, differentiation, and assessment practices.
• Plan, revise and document units with developmentally appropriate experiences.
• Provide timely feedback and manage classroom routines and transitions.
• Engage in pastoral care, reflect on practice, and contribute to school-wide teams.
• Participate in professional development and align with HKIS standards.
