TF International Securities Group Limited is seeking a Global Markets Technology Manager to own the platform portfolio, lead the technology roadmap, and align solutions with business strategy across sales, trading, risk and operations.
The role requires seven-plus years in Global Markets tech, deep knowledge of institutional workflows, and hands-on experience with CRM/OMS/EMS/PMS/RMS platforms, plus SQL/Python and data visualization capabilities. Fluency in English and Chinese is essential.
The GlobalMarkets business has developed an increasingly sophisticated portfolio of systems supporting institutional brokerage and cross assetsolutions. The current environment includes institutional sales and client management platforms, OMS/EMS/PMS/RMS, trade confirmation and middle- and back-office systems, external client and market connectivity, and internally developed client-information, management-reporting and decision-support tools.
The Global Markets Technology Manager will act as the primary business technology owner for this platform portfolio. The role will manage the systems roadmap, optimise existing applications and interfaces, lead implementation and change initiatives, and ensure that the technology environment evolves in line with the business strategy, product development and control requirements of GlobalMarkets.
This is a business-facing technology role within GlobalMarkets rather than a general IT support position. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Trading, Structuring, Research, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Finance, central Technology teams and external vendors to deliver scalable, controlled and commercially effective solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Own and maintain the Global Markets systems inventory, target architecture, application lifecycle and multi-year technology roadmap.
Translate business strategy and new product plans into system requirements, delivery priorities, business cases and practical implementation plans.
Lead system selection, implementation, migration, upgrade and integration projects from requirements and solution design through UAT, rollout and post-implementation review.
Manage and enhance institutional sales, CRM and client-information platforms supporting client coverage, activity tracking, onboarding workflows, pipeline management and management reporting.
Oversee the business functionality and integration of OMS, EMS, PMS and RMS platforms across order capture, routing, execution, allocation, booking, positions, limits and risk controls.
Work with other teams to improve confirmation, post-trade, reconciliation and middle- and back-office workflows, with the focus on accuracy, straight-through processing and operational control.
Manage and optimize external connectivity with clients, brokers, custodians, vendors and trading venues, including FIX, API, SFTP and other approved interfaces, onboarding and certification processes.
Develop and govern internal data, analytics, dashboard and decision-support solutions, ensuring consistent definitions, reliable data flows and appropriate access controls.
Assess the technology impact and readiness of new businesses, products, markets and client solutions before launch, including build-versus-buy and vendor options.
Coordinate production support, incident escalation, root-cause analysis, release management and permanent remediation for business-critical systems.
Establish appropriate system governance, documentation, change control, user access, audit trail, business continuity and data-protection standards in coordination with relevant control functions.
Manage vendors, service levels, licences, budgets and delivery resources, and provide clear status, risk and dependency reporting to senior management.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, information systems, engineering, finance or a related discipline.
At least seven years of relevant experience in Global Markets technology, trading systems, business analysis, product ownership, project management or systems implementation within a broker, investment bank, asset manager or market infrastructure provider.
Strong understanding of institutional brokerage and Global Markets workflows across client coverage, sales, trading, risk, confirmations and the full trade lifecycle.
Hands-on experience with several of the following: CRM or client platforms, OMS, EMS, PMS, RMS, confirmation, middle-office, back-office or management-information systems.
Experience with leading institutional platforms such as Broadridge, TS Imagine, Bloomberg EMSX, Eze, NYFIX, TORA or comparable systems would be an advantage.
Good understanding of system architecture, interfaces and data models, including FIX, APIs, file-based integration, reference data and reconciliation processes.
Proven ability to manage the full delivery lifecycle, including requirements, solution evaluation, UAT, release, change, incident and vendor management.
Working knowledge of SQL, Python, data visualisation or workflow automation would be an advantage; hands-on software development is not essential.
Strong commercial judgement, ownership, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced business environment.
Fluency in English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with business users, technology teams and external vendors.
