Job summary

Protiviti Hong Kong is seeking a Global Markets Middle-Office Operations Lead to manage day-to-day processing and control of Fixed Income, Bond, and Repo products.

You will support end-to-end trade lifecycle from capture to settlement, acting as the main liaison between Front Office, custodians, and settlement agents, while maintaining strong controls and risk management in a fast-paced trading environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Markets Operations, Securities Services, Trade Support, Middle Office, or Settlements.
• Hands-on experience supporting Fixed Income, Bonds, Repos, Securities Financing, or related products.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, confirmation, settlement, reconciliation, and exception management.
• Experience investigating trade breaks, settlement issues, and operational risk.
• Exposure to funding, collateral, or inventory management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end trade lifecycle for Fixed Income, Bond, and Repo products from trade execution through settlement.
• Act as liaison between Front Office, counterparties, custodians, and settlement agents to resolve trade issues.
• Monitor daily positions, coordinate securities movements, and support funding requirements.
• Perform trade validation, settlement monitoring, and exception management to mitigate risk.
• Produce reporting on bond, repo, securities financing, and financing activities.
• Conduct cash and securities reconciliations and drive timely issue resolution with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Finance, Technology, and Operations to ensure control.
• Participate in process improvements, system enhancements, regulatory changes, and UAT.
• Adhere to internal controls and regulatory requirements within a robust risk environment.
