Job summary

Sonder Consultants in Hong Kong is seeking a talented M&A Associate (2–8 PQE) to strengthen its Hong Kong team. This role offers exposure to high-profile cross-border M&A and private equity transactions with direct engagement with global clients across technology, finance, and private equity sectors.

The ideal candidate has 2–8 years’ post-qualification experience in M&A, with excellent English; Mandarin is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 2–8 years’ post-qualification experience in M&A (Magic Circle or top US firm background preferred)
• Excellent English (written & spoken); Mandarin capability advantageous
• US, UK, HK (or common law jurisdiction with willingness to relocate)
• Strong deal execution skills and appetite for high-value transactions

Responsibilities

• Work on high-profile cross-border M&A and private equity transactions.
• Engage with global clients across technology, finance, and private equity sectors.
• Support senior bankers in all stages of deal execution.
