Job summary

ActusRayPartners, a Hong Kong-based asset management firm, seeks a Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function across our global operations. You will drive workforce planning, recruitment, compensation, and compliance while partnering with senior management to grow the business.

The role demands strategic HR leadership, hands-on execution, and the ability to foster a high-performance culture in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong employment law, with Australian employment law advantageous, together with HR best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Broad generalist HR experience across recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, HR operations, and employee lifecycle management.
• Experience within a regulated financial services environment.
• Experience supporting a global workforce while fostering a strong, high-performance culture.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Native-level written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior management on HR strategy, workforce planning, and organisational development.
• Build and maintain a high-performance culture across a global workforce.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, employee retention, and visa sponsorship / immigration processes where required.
• Manage the employee lifecycle, including hiring, mobility, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
• Manage employee relations, performance management, and career development.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll, and reward programmes.
• Drive learning and development initiatives to support employee growth and leadership capability.
• Maintain HR policies, procedures, systems, and employee records.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies across relevant jurisdictions.
• Provide HR reporting, workforce insights, and support for audits, regulatory reviews, and due diligence activities.
