Job summary

DNA is partnering with a Chinese new energy group to establish a new Hong Kong office as a strategic APAC hub for international expansion and long-term growth. They seek an experienced fundraising professional to lead overseas capital-raising during the pre-IPO phase.

The role focuses on structuring equity proposals, engaging foreign institutions, and coordinating with senior management to optimize the company’s capital strategy in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• 10 years of overseas fundraising, investment banking, private equity, or strategic investment experience.
• Proven track record raising capital from foreign institutions, family offices, or long‑term capital.
• Strong existing network of investors is essential.
• Hands-on experience in Pre‑IPO financing or growth-stage fundraising preferred.
• Background or network in new energy or related sectors is advantageous.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken); Cantonese is a must.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and cross‑cultural communication abilities.
• Self‑driven, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute overseas fundraising strategy, focusing on foreign institutions and long-term capital.
• Identify, approach, and close equity financing and strategic investments from international investors.
• Leverage networks to source high-quality capital resources and deliver fundraising results.
• Design and structure financing proposals, term sheets, and investment frameworks for Pre IPO.
• Manage end-to-end investor engagement: outreach, due diligence, negotiation, closing.
• Prepare financing materials (pitch decks, IMs, financial models) for overseas investors.
• Monitor global capital market trends and advise on capital structure optimization.
• Collaborate with senior management on overall capital strategy and listing preparation.
• Represent the company in investor meetings, roadshows, and events in HK and internationally.
