Job summary

Links International is seeking a Head of Finance (Global) for its expanding MNC e-commerce group, based in Hong Kong. You will own the Group's finance and accounting across ecommerce, trading and distribution, including month-end/year-end closings, consolidation and management reporting.

You will establish policies and controls, manage intercompany activity, and collaborate with auditors, banks and tax advisors while delivering strategic financial insights to the Founder/CEO.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Qualified accountant with HKICPA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Approximately 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with experience leading a finance function highly desirable.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of full-set accounting, consolidation, financial reporting, FP&A, tax, treasury and internal controls.
• Experience gained within e-commerce, trading, retail, consumer products, distribution or other fast-moving commercial businesses would be highly advantageous.
• Experience within an SME / entrepreneurial / high-growth environment is particularly relevant.
• Comfortable operating as both a hands-on finance leader and strategic business partner.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the Group's finance and accounting function across its ecommerce, trading and distribution operations.
• Oversee full-set accounting, month-end and year-end closing, consolidation and management reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management accounts across different business entities.
• Establish and maintain appropriate accounting policies, financial controls and reporting standards.
• Oversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations and Group-level financial consolidation.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, banks and other professional parties.
• Lead FP&A & Commercial Finance, including budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Provide meaningful financial analysis and management insights directly to the Founder / CEO.
• Monitor financial and operational performance including revenue, margins, operating expenses, cash flow and profitability.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate new business opportunities, investments and expansion initiatives.
• Develop financial models, scenario analysis and business cases to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide financial oversight across the Group's ecommerce, trading and distribution channels.
• Develop stronger visibility around sales performance, gross margins, inventory, logistics costs and channel profitability.
• Partner with commercial and operational teams to improve profitability and working capital efficiency.
• Support the financial management of new markets, products, sales channels and geographical expansion.
• Take responsibility for cash flow forecasting, liquidity and working capital management.
• Oversee banking relationships, payments and treasury activities.
• Coordinate corporate tax, statutory reporting and compliance requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
• Work with external advisors to ensure the Group maintains appropriate tax and corporate structures as the business expands.
• Build, develop and lead the finance function as the organization scales.
• Review existing finance processes and implement stronger controls, policies and reporting frameworks.
• Drive automation and improvement of accounting, reporting and financial systems.
• Establish a scalable finance infrastructure capable of supporting future international growth.
• Develop the finance team from a primarily operational accounting function into a stronger commercial and business-partnering function.
