Job summary

CNN in Hong Kong is seeking a Producer of Global Productions to lead feature content across CNN’s platforms—from digital features to bite-sized social videos and full 30-minute documentaries. You'll craft compelling stories for digital, TV, and social, collaborating with on-air talent and regional bureaus.

You will manage production schedules, coordinate logistics, and ensure editorial standards and Ofcom compliance are met, while experimenting with new storytelling technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven track record creating engaging content across written, video and social platforms.
• Strong writing and editing skills essential for this role.
• Experience using social media as a publishing and audience engagement tool.
• Comfort with news and feature production and understanding of the differences.
• Strong communicator and collaborator.
• Strong editorial judgment.
• Deep understanding of multiple platforms and devices.
• Good understanding of current affairs.
• Must understand S&P and Ofcom compliance guidelines.
• Must be organized, efficient and able to multi-task booking, logistics and research.
• Positive, self-starting attitude will serve the candidate well.

Responsibilities

• Produce feature content for CNN platforms, from digital features to social videos and TV documentaries.
• Innovate with new technologies in storytelling.
• Create stand-out digital content including long and short-form articles, interactives, image galleries, videos, infographics and more.
• Coordinate production logistics and schedules under tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with on-air talent and regional bureaus to reach a global audience.
• Ensure compliance with Ofcom and CNN editorial processes.
