AIA HK is transforming into a faster, simpler, and more connected organization. We are seeking an AI Data Architect to design scalable data ecosystems for GenAI initiatives, AI/ML workloads, and a data science platform using Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, and other leading technologies.

You will lead data-architecture strategy, establish governance, and partner across IT and business teams to deliver secure, compliant AI solutions that support millions of customers in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education in information technology, computer science, engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in a data architect role, ideally in insurance/health provider industry.
• 4+ years hands-on AI data architecture design for large-scale enterprise AI solutions.
• Experience with data governance and enterprise processes.
• Experience with Azure cloud and other cloud platforms.
• Experience with relational databases and data warehouses (Azure SQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB, Redis, Neo4j).
• Experience with Big Data solutions (Azure Data Lake, Azure ML, Databricks, Azure Event Hub).
• Experience with Python or R for machine learning; data visualization with Tableau/Power BI.
• Experience in LLM integration, prompt engineering, and AI model governance; familiarity with GenAI in insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI data architecture strategies, best practices, and standards for GenAI use cases.
• Design AI data architecture for data ingestion, preprocessing and scaled model computation.
• Troubleshoot ML model deployments and data pipelines with innovative solutions.
• Translate business priorities into architecture requirements for enterprise delivery.
• Provide Enterprise Data Architecture design thinking to IT and business teams.
• Contribute to data architecture strategy, roadmaps, and building blocks.
• Participate in architecture assessments and reviews with SMEs.
• Ensure migration plans with risk management and cost-benefit assessment.
• Ensure ethical, secure, and compliant use of AI per HK guidelines.
