Job summary

Base Camp Digital is seeking a Data Architect to lead next-generation data architectures on Google Cloud Platform, driving AI Agent innovation within a large financial services program in Hong Kong.

You will translate complex business needs into scalable data solutions, design end-to-end data pipelines, and collaborate with stakeholders to define interfaces and contracts, ensuring robust data governance and extensible cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data architecture and end-to-end solution design.
• Practical exposure to AI Agent frameworks and their application to data/IT use cases
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - able to influence at all levels

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business needs into elegant, scalable data architectures that accelerate operations
• Champion AI Agent adoption - identifying opportunities to simplify IT workflows and guiding engineering teams through hands-on implementation for real data use cases
• Act as the bridge between business and technology, partnering with upstream and downstream stakeholders to define system contracts, interfaces, and implementable solutions
• Architect and build modern data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform - BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Airflow/Composer, and graph databases
