Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock in Hong Kong seeks an Assistant Manager for Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting (6 months) to oversee fund accounting, financial reporting and expenses for our HK funds platform. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver accurate financial statements and notes.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, audit coordination with EY/KPMG, and timely submission of reports.

Qualifications

• University degree with a major in accounting or related field.
• 5–7+ years’ experience in financial reporting for investment funds (Big 4 preferred).
• Strong IFRS/HKFRS knowledge and regulatory reporting for funds (HK/Singapore).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation of financial reports for HK fund platforms with internal/external stakeholders.
• Oversee updates to main financial statements, notes and disclosures.
• Perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data used in reports.
• Coordinate fee approvals and documentation with external fund administrators and Finance.
• Support end-to-end fund/audit activities and deliver audit files.
• Work with auditors (EY, KPMG) on walkthroughs and data requests.
