Job summary

Full Time Educational Assistant with ICT focus

Peak School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Educational Assistant with a specialist focus on ICT. The successful candidate will support primary students' learning, teaching, and holistic development by integrating creative and artistic experiences into daily educational and social growth.

Key Responsibilities

Support for Learning and Teaching

Assist in the educational and social development of students

Support students in mainstream classes including all academic and/or specialist subjects as required

Assist in the planning and implementation of Individual Education Programs for students and the monitoring of student's academic progress

Support students with emotional/behavioural problems and help develop their social skills/behaviours, including the implementation of behaviour modification programmes when required

Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom, including supporting access to camps, educational visits and whole school activities, to enable students to fully participate in activities

Abilities

Confident using common digital tools, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new platforms

Able to create ICT-related design materials to support learning and communication

Provide basic ICT support, including Google Workspace

Support student learning through the effective use of ICT

Administer and maintain online learning platforms

Provide learning technology support for both staff and students

Knowledge

Working knowledge of Apple systems (beneficial)

Basic knowledge of AV technologies (beneficial)

Strength working with media and content creation (photos, videos, etc)

Requirements
