Job summary

Citadel Securities, a technology-driven global market maker, seeks engineers to build next-generation pricing and trading workflows for Options. You will collaborate with traders and researchers to design and implement scalable, real-time systems across frontend and backend layers.

You will develop intuitive interfaces, robust distributed services, and production-grade APIs to enable research, pricing, execution, and risk management in fast-changing markets.

Qualifications

• Experience building full stack apps with modern frontend/backend technologies.
• Proficiency with TypeScript and React.
• Experience designing scalable backend services (C++ or Python).
• Experience building distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
• Strong understanding of API design, async systems and event-driven architectures.
• Passion for intuitive user experiences and rapid prototyping.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and build high-touch pricing and trading workflow applications for Options traders.
• Partner with traders, researchers, and leaders to design efficient workflows.
• Build full stack apps spanning frontend, backend, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Develop high-performance interfaces for real-time research, pricing, and trading.
