Based in Wong Chuk Hang, you will build and enhance full‑stack solutions, balancing frontend and backend tasks with a focus on Node.js and Go in an agile setting.

You will work with cross-functional teams, apply cloud/DevOps practices, and contribute to modern digital platforms for a leading insurer, driving innovation and delivery across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• About 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong English, Cantonese and Mandarin communication skills.
• Experience with Node.js, Go, and RESTful APIs; frontend and backend skills.

Description

• Develop and maintain digital platforms in accordance with corporate branding and quality standards
• Design, build, and enhance both frontend and backend features for distribution platforms
• Deliver responsive and scalable applications within an Agile development environment
• Ensure compliance with web development standards, usability guidelines, and best practices
• Drive continuous improvements by introducing new technologies, tools, and development approaches
• Work closely with technical leads and cross-functional teams to integrate frontend and backend solutions
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC
• Contribute to application design, system architecture, and technical solution delivery
• Support AI adoption and automation initiatives across software development processes

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Around 3+ years of software development experience
• Strong communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Solid analytical thinking, problem-solving, and system design capabilities
• Passionate about learning new technologies and keeping up with industry trends
• Experience in frontend development using React Native, Node.js, and RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of backend development using Go and/or Java Spring Boot
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MSSQL and MongoDB
• Exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps tools, particularly Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps
• Hands-on experience with development tools including Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Eclipse
• Basic knowledge of Red Hat Linux environments is advantageous
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment with a positive mindset
