Job summary

Mox is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join our Technology-CIO team in Hong Kong. You will work on mobile and web features using React Native, TypeScript, and GraphQL to connect to backend services.

Collaborate with product designers to design, prototype, and implement engaging user interfaces, and contribute to a reusable component library for rapid delivery. If you are passionate about customer-focused mobile UX and enjoy iterative delivery in a fast-paced fintech environment, this is the role

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining mobile apps.
• Fluent with Typescript/JavaScript and building modern JavaScript component applications.
• Deep understanding of ReactJS or React Native.
• Experience with GraphQL is preferred but not essential.
• Understand what makes a great mobile user experience and care about delivering it.
• Keen learner with ambitious and result-driven mindset, enjoys collaboration with engineers.
• Experience collaborating on software projects with design and backend aspects.
• Team-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with iterative delivery driven by customer feedback and data insights.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Our technology stack is predominantly React Native using TypeScript.
• Leverage GraphQL as the query/aggregation layer to the backend/microservices.
• Write high quality, maintainable code using TS/JS and CI/CD.
• Collaborate closely with product designers with a focus on feature design and prototyping.
• Be involved in the user experience design process, from wireframes and mock-ups through implementation and release.
• Work closely with the design team to create a reusable component library.

• Collaborate closely with product designers with a focus on feature design and prototyping


• Be involved in the user experience design process, from wireframes and mock-ups through implementation and release


• Work closely with the design team to create a reusable component library

Requirements
