Job summary

Ikas International (Asia) Limited is seeking a highly experienced eFX & Fixed Income DevOps Support Engineer to join our front-office aligned technology team in Hong Kong. You will support real-time trading systems, venue connectivity, and liquidity provider integrations in a high-pressure environment.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with low-latency FX trading platforms and exposure to Rates/Bonds trading systems, plus proficiency in Python, Java, Linux, and data tools such

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting low-latency FX trading platforms.
• Exposure to Rates/Bonds trading systems is a significant advantage.
• Understanding of the full trade lifecycle (FO → BO).
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Experience with Linux environments.
• Experience with SQL, KDB/Q, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production support for eFX low-latency trading systems and Fixed Income / Rates trading platforms.
• Manage client & venue onboarding, LP connectivity, and exchange/ECN integration workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the FO → BO chain (pricing, order routing, STP, reporting).
• Monitor system health and latency, proactively identifying issues before they impact trading.
• Drive incident resolution end-to-end: root cause analysis, documentation, follow-up fixes.
• Deploy and maintain production releases, patches, configuration updates across environments.
• Build automation tooling using Python and Java for reporting, monitoring, log analysis, and workflow improvements.
• Operate efficiently in Linux environments; troubleshoot system & network issues.
• Use SQL, KDB/Q, or similar tools for ad hoc data investigation, monitoring, and analytics.
