Job summary

Cathay Pacific in Hong Kong invites energetic individuals to join our world-class Cabin Crew. You will contribute to safe, comfortable, and memorable journeys for passengers, delivering exceptional inflight service and personalised experiences.

Ideal candidates will have strong English skills, multilingual abilities, excellent communication, and a passion for hospitality. The role requires physical fitness, safety awareness, and a commitment to a diverse, inclusive team.

Qualifications

  • Right to work in Hong Kong—you must have the legal right to live and work in Hong Kong.
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • High school graduate or above.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and at least one of the following languages: Cantonese, Putonghua, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, Filipino, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, or Sinhala. Putonghua proficiency is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you connect with people naturally.
  • A minimum arm reach of 208 cm on tiptoe to meet safety and operational requirements.
  • Previous experience in the airline, hospitality, or service industry is an advantage but not essential.
  • Safety-Sensitive Position requiring background checks, medical assessment, drug test, and English assessment exemptions criteria.

What We're Looking For

To join our world‑class Cabin Crew team, you'll need to meet the following requirements:

  • Right to work in Hong Kong—you must have the legal right to live and work in Hong Kong.
  • Minimum age of 18.

  • Important: Safety‑Sensitive Position. As this position is safety‑sensitive, successful candidates are required to:
  • Pass a comprehensive pre‑employment background check.
  • Demonstrate physical fitness by passing a pre‑employment medical assessment.
  • Pass a pre‑employment drug test—testing will be conducted following the HKCAD Guidance for Screening of Psychoactive Substances (CAD373).
  • Exemption from English Assessment. Candidates may be exempt from the English assessment if they hold either of the following: TOEIC® (Public Test): A valid score of 325 or above in both Reading and Listening. IELTS (Academic): A valid overall Band Score of 6.0 or above. Please upload your score report when submitting your application. The result must be within its validity period and will be verified during the recruitment process.
