Taikang Asset Management (Hong Kong) Co. Ltd. is seeking a diligent Operations Associate to support the Fixed Income team in daily trading and settlement workflows in Hong Kong.

You will assist in money market fund management, order placement, and inter-department coordination to meet tight deadlines. Requires a Master’s in Economics or Finance and at least 2 years of fixed income trading experience; proficiency with Bloomberg, Wind and Excel; strong English and Chinese language skills; and

• At least 2 years of Fixed Income trading experience.
• Proficient in Bloomberg, Wind and Excel.
• Good command of English and Chinese (Mandarin / Cantonese).

Responsabilidades

• Assist MMF manager in querying daily deposit quotes and placement work.
• Support fund managers with order placement, including bond primary market new issuances, secondary market trades, and FX orders.
• Check, follow up, and confirm failed or unmatched trades with counterparties across repos, deposits, and other transactions.
• Coordinate daily support operations for the fixed income team and maintain business databases.
• Act as cross-department contact for the Investment Team and handle inter-department coordination.

• Assist Money Market Fund (MMF) manager in querying daily deposit quotes from counterparties and completing the related deposit placement work in an accurate and timely manner.
• Support fund managers with order placement, including bond primary market new issuance orders, secondary market bond trading orders, and FX trading orders.
• Assist fund managers in checking, following up, and confirming failed or unmatched trades with counterparties, covering repo transactions, deposit trades, secondary market bond trades, and other related transactions.
• Coordinate daily support operations for the fixed income investment team, complete document circulation and workflow processes accurately within required deadlines, and maintain business databases.
• Act as the cross-departmental business contact point for the Investment Team; handle daily inter-department coordination and administrative affairs.

Job Requirements

• Master degree in Economics, Finance or other related disciplines.
• At least 2 years of Fixed Income trading experience (China Offshore Dollar Bond / Rates / LGFV / Emerging Market / DM Bond).
• Proficient in computer applications such as Bloomberg, Wind and Excel.
• A diligent team player, quick minded and able to work under pressure.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin / Cantonese).
• Require to work evening shift on rotation basis.
