Job summary

Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong is seeking a Manager – Intermediaries (Fintech Unit) to contribute to shaping the responsible and sustainable development of the virtual asset and wider fintech industries. You will work on policy formulation, supervise intermediaries, and handle applications within a dynamic regulatory environment.

The role reports to an Associate Director or Senior Manager and requires strong regulatory knowledge, English/Chinese writing, and integrity to ensure

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting, law, information technology, finance or economics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Good writing in English and Chinese and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep abreast of market and regulatory developments in fintech to identify issues.
• Assist in formulating policies for virtual asset and fintech regulation.
• Handle applications from firms and licensed intermediaries in the fintech/virtual asset space.
• Supervise licensed intermediaries with focus on conduct, financial and operational risks.
