Michael Page is partnering with a fintech company in Hong Kong to recruit an Assistant Finance Manager. This permanent role manages daily accounting operations, prepares reports, budgets, and forecasts, and supports month-end and year-end closures.

The successful applicant will hold a degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred, with proficiency in accounting software, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field).
• CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in financial reporting tools and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets and forecasts for stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in financial planning.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Identify process improvements and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights.
