Job summary

SDIC Securities International Financial Holdings Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced finance professional to establish annual budgets, prepare forecasts, and perform variance analysis. You will supervise accounts payable, assist in workflow automation, and support internal controls and statutory financial statements.

The ideal candidate has a Finance/Accounting degree and a qualified accountant credential with at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong English and Chinese

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Finance / Accounting and qualified accountant.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience preferably gained in financial industry and audit industry.
• Knowledge in SFO and FRR is preferred.
• Able to work independently and work under pressure.
• Pleasant, proactive, committed and a good team player.
• Good communication and analytical skills and with good business sense.
• Proficient in MS Office such as Excel and Word, Hyperion and Chinese word processing.
• Good command of English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua.
• Immediately available is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish annual budgets and the supporting schedules
• Prepare forecasts and perform variance analysis on financial performance
• Reconcile financial data with various business lines and assist in business performance reviews
• Supervise the account payable section
• Assist in system developments on workflow automation
• Support the formulation and implementation of internal control policies
• Support the daily accounting function
• Assist in annual financial statements preparation to ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
• Participate in ad hoc projects as required
