Job summary

Currenxie, a financial technology company, is seeking a seasoned Finance professional to manage daily finance operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee reporting and audits. The role focuses on collaboration with multiple parties, internal controls, and continuous process improvements.

The ideal candidate holds ACCA/CPA or equivalent, has 7+ years in financial institutions, and demonstrates strong English communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• ACCA/CPA or equivalent qualification with a Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 7 years experience in preferably in financial institutions
• Experience in banking industry an advantage
• Experience managing tasks of others
• Strong reporting background and attention to detail
• Strong command in written and spoken English
• Organised, can work independently and have strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation in Finance and align with different parties
• Perform daily bank, account deposit and credit card related reconciliations
• Responsible for overall financial compliance and statutory obligations of the business
• Regulatory reporting
• Annual audit, completion of all required statements
• Monthly and quarterly financial and management reporting
• Assist in process improvements and automation within the Finance Team
• Ad hoc reporting and analysis
