The Finance Associate Program is a two-year rotational program designed to develop future finance and business leaders through hands‑on experience across Order to Cash, Procurement to Payment, Revenue Recognition & Commercial Finance, and FP&A. Participants will gain broad exposure to financial operations, commercial decision‑making, and strategic planning while working closely with Finance leaders, Partners, and consultants across the region.
The program offers unique regional exposure across Hong Kong, Singapore, and China, enabling Associates to develop a deep understanding of the financial and commercial dynamics of a leading professional services business. Associates will gain first‑hand experience in a high‑growth, fast‑paced environment backed by a leading global private equity investor, providing exposure to business transformation, performance management, operational excellence, and value creation initiatives.
Designed for high‑potential Finance and Accounting graduates, the program combines training, mentorship, and real‑world business experience to accelerate professional development. High‑performing Associates may be considered for direct placement into high‑impact Finance roles, including FP&A, Commercial Finance, Revenue Management, and Business Finance, or opportunities to transition into client‑facing consulting teams, creating an accelerated pathway to leadership within the firm.
Responsibilities will vary by rotation and may include:
Support the end‑to‑end billing and accounts receivable process, ensuring invoices are issued accurately and on time.
Review client contracts, engagement terms and billing arrangements to support appropriate financial treatment.
Monitor receivables, unbilled revenue and work‑in‑progress balances, highlighting risks and following up with relevant stakeholders.
Partner with consultants and client teams to resolve billing queries and support timely collections.
Prepare reports and analysis on billing performance, cash collection and working capital.
Support the processing and review of vendor invoices, employee expenses and payment requests.
Assist with vendor onboarding and help maintain accurate supplier records.
Review expenditure against internal policies, approval requirements and supporting documentation.
Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve payment‑related queries.
Identify opportunities to improve procurement, expense and payment processes.
Review contracts and engagement documentation to support accurate revenue recognition in accordance with applicable accounting policies.
Assist with project setup, revenue forecasting, fee tracking and engagement financial management.
Analyse project performance, including revenue, costs, utilisation, margins and profitability.
Work with Finance colleagues and client‑facing teams to identify financial risks and support informed commercial decisions.
Support month‑end closing activities, reconciliations and management reporting.
Assist with annual budgeting, periodic forecasting and longer‑term financial planning.
Analyse actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers, risks and opportunities.
Prepare financial reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management.
Support business cases, scenario modelling and commercial analysis for strategic initiatives.
Translate financial data into clear and practical insights for business stakeholders.
Contribute to process improvement, systems implementation and finance transformation initiatives.
Support the standardisation of finance processes and reporting across Hong Kong, Singapore and Mainland China.
Use data and technology to improve reporting quality, operational efficiency and decision‑making.
Participate in cross‑functional projects relating to business growth, performance improvement and operational excellence.
Take ownership of assigned workstreams and deliver accurate, timely and practical outcomes.
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
