Job summary

Wabtec Corporation in Hong Kong is seeking a lead CPT to manage site work and act as the primary interface with Project Manager and Safety from MTRC. You will supervise Field Services technicians and contractors on refurbishment works, ensuring safety, tooling readiness and quality of work.

The role requires a Diploma in E&M Engineering or related discipline with at least 5 years in maintenance, preferably in railway or related industries.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years practical working experience in maintenance, preferably in railway, rolling stock, automobile or related industries.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead & supervise Field Services technicians and/or Contractors to perform refurbishment works (electrical and/or mechanical) in Hong Kong.
• Execute site work with readiness of tooling, safety and work quality.
• Maintain close communication with stakeholders to ensure progress as scheduled.
• Handle installation and technical issues, report progress and maintain documentation.

Job description

Conduct site survey activities/trials as per ProjectManager/Engineersinstructions with constructive feedbacksuch as technical feasibility and resourcesoptimization.

Lead & supervise Field Services technicians and/or Contractors to perform refurbishment works (electrical and/or mechanical) in Hong Kong.

Execution excellencein term of project work scope, readiness of tooling, safety and work quality

Maintainclosecommunication with various stakeholders to ensure overall works progress as scheduled.

Handle installation and technical issues, report installation progress and maintain proper documentation.

What do we want to know about you?

Diploma in E&M Engineering or related discipline or apprentice training in E&M field or E&M related training.

At least 5 years practical working experience in maintenance, preferably in railway, rolling stock, automobile or related industries.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite.

Qualification in MTRC CP(T) and/or Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker (Grade A) and/or Certified Safety Supervisor and/or First Aid Certificate is a definite advantage.

Holder of HK driving licence 2 is required

Working hours: work on overnight shift
