Job summary

AFSC Operations Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a software professional to develop and enhance in-house business applications and ERP systems. You will perform analysis, design, coding, testing, and user support while optimizing MySQL databases and SQL queries.

Responsibilities also include supporting Linux server environments, designing reports, and participating in data migration and digitalization projects. 2+ years’ experience and JasperReports expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant programming experience.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems and server environments.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL and SQL development.
• Experience in Java application development.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web application development.
• Hands-on experience in JasperReports or Jaspersoft Studio development is a must.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining business reports, forms, and print layouts.
• Experience in integrating JasperReports with MySQL databases.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance in-house business applications and ERP systems.
• Perform system analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and user support.
• Develop and optimize MySQL databases, SQL queries, and related applications.
• Support Linux server environments and application deployment.
• Design and maintain business reports, forms, and print layouts.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and reporting issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and user manuals.
• Participate in system integration, data migration, and digitalization projects.
