Job summary
AAA Global is seeking an experienced China Equity Trader to join its Asia trading team in Hong Kong or Singapore. The role focuses on China A/H-share index arbitrage, A-share program trading, block trading and relative-value opportunities.
You will trade across A-shares and related instruments, monitor market catalysts, manage intraday risk, and collaborate with portfolio managers, researchers, risk and operations teams to generate alpha.
Qualifications
- Three+ years of trading experience in China A/H shares.
- Experience in index arbitrage, program trading, block trading, or relative-value strategies.
- Knowledge of China equity market structure and Stock Connect.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Programming or quantitative research experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Trade China A/H-share index arbitrage and cross-market relative-value strategies.
- Execute A-share program, basket and block trades.
- Identify pricing and liquidity opportunities across A-shares, H-shares, ETFs, index futures and related instruments.
- Monitor index rebalances, constituent changes, corporate actions, market flows and other trading catalysts.
- Manage execution, hedging, market impact, liquidity and intraday risk.
- Work closely with Portfolio Managers, researchers, risk and operations teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and other market counterparties.
- Contribute market colour and trading ideas to the wider investment team.
