CGWS International Financial Limited in Hong Kong seeks a DCM professional to execute end-to-end bond transactions for Chinese corporate issuers, including USD and RMB bonds, green bonds and AT1/Tier2 instruments. You will prepare materials, negotiate terms and coordinate with counsel, rating agencies and regulators to ensure smooth execution.
The role requires 3–5 years in DCM/IB, strong Excel modeling, and fluent English and Mandarin. CFA/CPA/SFC licenses are a plus in a fast-paced environment.
Sheung Wan, Central and Western District
Execute end-to-end DCM transactions for Chinese corporate issuers, covering USD bonds, RMB bonds, green bonds, perpetual bonds, AT1/Tier2 capital securities and other debt products, including due diligence, structuring, terms negotiation, book-building, pricing, allocation and settlement.
Key responsibilities
Prepare pitchbooks, investor memoranda, roadshow materials, credit analysis reports, pricing analyses and transaction documentation
Actively participate in investor relations management, assist in maintaining and expanding institutional investor coverage including banks, funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds and private banks; engage in one-on-one presentations, conference calls and non-deal roadshows
Coordinate with external professional parties (international counsel, accountants, rating agencies, trustees, etc.) and regulatory bodies (HKEX, SFC, CSRC filings, etc.) to ensure smooth and compliant transaction execution
Closely track market dynamics of Chinese USD/offshore bonds, credit spread movements, interest rate environment and comparable transactions; provide market insights and issuance timing recommendations to clients
Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly market updates, credit research reports and internal training materials
Actively support cross-team collaboration with other departments and teams; perform other duties as assigned by superiors
About you
Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Law or related disciplines
3–5 years of relevant experience. Candidates with DCM execution, bond transaction or investment banking background are preferred
Proficient in Excel for financial modeling (cash flow analysis, debt servicing capacity, sensitivity analysis, etc.); skilled in using Bloomberg/Reuters for market data research and analysis; strong PowerPoint presentation skills
Excellent command of both English and Chinese (Mandarin) – fluent in English with the ability to draft professional documents independently; native or near-native Mandarin proficiency
Strong communication, coordination and pressure management skills; ability to drive progress among multiple stakeholders; self-motivated, detail-oriented, market-sensitive and adaptable to fast-paced, high-intensity work environment
CFA, CPA, FRM or SFC license holders are preferred
