Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a diligent Facilities Assistant to support the Equestrian Services Supervisor at Beas River Equestrian Centre in Sheung Shui. The role focuses on keeping stables and the equestrian facilities clean, including offices, restrooms and outdoor areas, and assisting at equestrian competitions and other events.

Candidates with at least 1 year of relevant cleaning experience and a hands-on approach to manual work are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Experience in manual operations and cleaning work.

• Clean stables and maintain cleanliness of the equestrian centre, including offices, restrooms, stables and outdoor areas.

About the Role

This role supports the Equestrian Services Supervisor in maintaining the cleanliness of the equestrian centre, including stables and other facilities. The postholder also assists at equestrian competitions and other events and performs general duties as assigned. The position sits within the Racing Division, which manages Hong Kong's world-class horse racing value chain from importation and training through to racedays, equestrian, welfare, integrity and international engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean stables and maintain the cleanliness of the equestrian centre, including but not limited to offices, restrooms, stables and outdoor areas.
• Assist in equestrian competitions and other events.
• Perform other general duties as assigned by the Equestrian Services Supervisor.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in manual operations and cleaning work.

Workplace

• Beas River Equestrian Centre, Sheung Shui.
• Work 6 days per week, 8 hours per day.
• Required to work on Sundays and public holidays.
• Working hours may be adjusted according to operational needs.
