Job summary

Veolia Hong Kong Holding Limited seeks an Environmental Compliance professional to support site permits, EM&A, and overall environmental governance on the project site.

You will coordinate with the Environmental Consultant, deliver trainings, supervise environmental performance, and conduct joint inspections to identify environmental risks.

Qualifications

• University degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• Construction Safety (Green Card) training or certification.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Assist Environmental Manager with site compliance with contracts, licenses and environmental permits.
• Assist in preparing, implementing and updating the Environmental Management Plan and EM&A reports.
• Liaise with Environmental Consultant for monitoring and auditing matters.
• Provide environmental trainings including induction and toolbox talks for site staff and workers.
• Supervise and monitor all environmental performance on the site.
• Carry out joint site inspections to identify potential environmental hazards.

Job Description

• Assist Environmental Manager with overall Site Compliance with Contract, License, and Environmental Permits
• Assist in preparing, implementation and updating the Environmental Management Plan and EM&A reports

• University Graduate in Environmental Science or related fields
• Construction Safety (Green Card) Training
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese

Additional Information

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in EM&A, Environmental monitoring or relevant experience is preferable
• Certificate holder of Environmental Supervisor
• Driving license is essential
• Proficient in MS office / Google applications
• Determined, motivated team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent presentation and presentation skills
